The high-pressure mixing head is one of the most critical components of a high-pressure foaming machine. Our company's series of high-pressure mixing heads, developed based on the previous Italian Conron mixing head and incorporating German mixing heads and the characteristics of domestic equipment, employ a dual oil circuit, dual angle, and a large piston stroke that can be adjusted vertically for secondary mixing. The mixing head now used in high-pressure foaming machines features a V-shaped nozzle layout, a design recognized by experts both domestically and internationally. Previously, a straight-line nozzle was used; the V-shaped nozzle provides significantly better mixing uniformity. Dual proximity switch control ensures the system never cross-contaminates. The cleaning rod movement separates the cleaning section from the cylinder section, completely eliminating the problem of material contamination in the high-pressure machine's hydraulic station, reducing valve malfunctions, and minimizing oil leakage due to damage to the large piston rod seal. The large piston high-pressure proximity switch has been replaced with a low-pressure proximity switch, which does not directly contact the hydraulic oil, reducing leakage points and increasing the switch's lifespan.
Featuring an L-shaped structure with large and small pistons, the mixing head has a self-cleaning mechanism, ensuring thorough mixing through two collisions and improving the foaming quality of the finished product. All seals are imported, and the processing material is high-quality, high-strength tool steel, extending the service life of the mixing head. It boasts high repeatability, uniform mixing, stable performance, simple operation, no cleaning required, and high production efficiency, with a guaranteed service life of over 500,000 cycles. It is widely used in rigid foam, semi-rigid foam, high-resilience, and self-skinning PU structures.
High pressure mixing head, FPL series L type
The series high pressure mixing head is FPL series, used for replacement of cannon mix head.
The model high-pressure mixing head offers many significant advantages in terms of quality, performance, productivity and environmental impact, such as:
1. Homogenous mixing ensured by high-velocity impingement of components leaving the jets
2. Self-cleaning head: Solvents are no longer required for head cleaning operations
3. High repeatability of the pouring weight with pouring times less than 0.5 sec.
4. Manual or automatic regulation of the pouring pressure
Laminar flow granted also in case of open mould pouring.
